TEC is a multicultural Vocational Training College with close ties to a labor market under a growing Globalization. The increasing trend towards internationalization increases the skills needs for innovation, inter-cultural competencies and a high level of professional specialization.
As a Danish Vocational Training College we have a duty to strengthen the European dimension in our educational programs. We must create transparency and mutual recognition of our programs. We must help to ensure that our students are well prepared for this complex labor market, and that they receive the best possible education at TEC. TEC therefore supports students and staff in their development of intercultural skills and outlooks.
In order to be technically, pedagogically and organizationally updated, TEC as an institution will seek out knowledge and experiences outside of Denmark. This is done through TECs participation in transnational networks, projects and expert fora; and by students and staff participating in various types of mobilities, including the provision of training periods abroad.
TEC has been awarded the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter for high quality in mobility.
International Partners and Projects
TEC is involved in international projects that relate to TEC´s international policy. The projects can be derived in to two groups on behalf of their overall focus: Mobility - or development projects.
Mobility projects are exchange of students and staff. The partners in these projects functions as host partners to give the participants the best experience and quality of learning. These mobility projects make sure that students are ready for the globalized labor marked and get an international perspective on their education. This can make them grow both personally and professionally. The mobility projects are important to ensure students' motivation and inspiration in their field of education.
The aim of mobility of staff is development of practical, theoretical and pedagogical skills seen in an international context and for them to bring home reflections, new ideas and knowledge. Projects focusing on development are carried out as knowledge sharing between educational institutions and companies. TECs participation in these kinds of projects ensures that we get inspiration to be able to innovate in the way we educate. Additionally, they provide knowledge of future demands of labor skills within the globalized world.
TEC has a strong network and many international partner schools and –businesses/cooperations. These partners make our international activities possible.
Here is a list of most the international partners, divided in the headings: Network, Schools and Businesses/ Cooperations. TEC is continually looking for new partners to expand and improve our international network.
